For most of this product's life, PostPop refused to do anything until you handed over a website to scan. That seemed reasonable when we built it. Your site has your colours, your fonts, your logo and your actual words — everything a post needs, in one paste.
Then we looked at what new accounts actually did. Thirteen people signed in, reached the Studio and left without ever making a brand kit. Several of them inside sixty seconds.
The field was not the problem. Having only one was.
Plenty of businesses do not have a website. A lot of them are the exact businesses this is for — a studio that lives on Instagram, a trade that runs off a phone number, a channel on Telegram. And plenty of people who do have a site would reasonably rather not paste it into a tool they met ninety seconds ago.
There was nowhere for either of them to go.
Two doors, both on screen
Now the Studio shows two fields side by side: your website, or one sentence about your business. No tab hiding one of them, no "advanced" link, and no implication that the sentence is the lesser path. The kit gets made on the way to your first post rather than on a separate screen you have to find.
The sentence is the whole trick, and it takes ten seconds to get right. "Marketing agency" tells PostPop nothing it could not have guessed. "Reformer pilates studio in Nairobi. Small classes, beginners welcome, first session free" tells it the place, the customer and the offer — and every post afterwards is written from those facts rather than from the industry average.
Say what you do, who it is for, and one thing that is specifically true about you.
The honest difference
Grounding is grounding. A sentence you wrote and a paragraph we scraped land in the same field and do the same job — and yours is usually more accurate, because you chose the words.
What a sentence cannot bring is your colours, your fonts and your logo. So a kit made that way starts on PostPop's palette, and the app says so plainly instead of pretending the colours are yours. Set your own in Brands whenever you have them, in under a minute. Nothing you already made has to be redone — every export renders fresh, so improvements reach old posts too.
Slides without a logo fall back to your brand initials, which reads as deliberate rather than as missing.
Nothing is held back
All eleven templates. Every design available on your plan. Every export size. There is no reduced version of PostPop for people without a site, and adding your URL later is one paste whenever you feel like it.
The step-by-step is at Start PostPop without a website. It takes about a minute.
