The holidays are when small businesses have the most to say and the least time to design it. Plan them now: here's what to post, when to post it, and how to make each one in a few minutes.
The dates that matter this year
- Thu 26 Nov · Thanksgiving. A thank-you post to your customers. No selling.
- Fri 27 Nov – Mon 30 Nov · Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Your offer, the end date, and how to get it.
- From Tue 1 Dec · Gift season. Gift guides, gift cards and last order dates.
- Thu 24 – Fri 25 Dec · Christmas. Opening hours, then a warm greeting.
- Thu 31 Dec – Fri 1 Jan · New Year. Your year in review, then what's coming.
Five holiday posts that always work
1 · Holiday opening hours
The post people actually save. One slide, big dates, nothing else. Post it twice: early December and the week before Christmas.
2 · A gift guide from your own shelf
Three to five products as a carousel: "for the coffee lover", "under €25", "last-minute". Each slide is one product, one line, one price.
3 · The thank-you post
On Thanksgiving or in the last week of the year. A number that means something ("412 orders packed by hand") beats a stock "thank you".
4 · The countdown
"3 days left to order for Christmas." Short, urgent, and easy to reuse each day with one number changed.
5 · Your year in review
Five slides, five moments. It's the post your regulars comment on most.
Keep your brand on. Holiday red and green don't have to replace your colours. Use one festive element (a bow, a garland, some sparkle) on top of your own brand and the post still looks like you.
Ready-made holiday graphics
Want a festive touch without hunting for it? Our studio published a small holiday set on VLN Network, a licensing marketplace: cut-out Christmas objects you can drop onto any post, and backgrounds with space for your text.

Christmas gift boxes, transparent PNG. Drop it next to your offer.

Gold gift bow, transparent PNG. Put it in a corner of a gift-card or voucher post.

Navy and gold background. For your opening hours or New Year post: the left side stays clear for text.

New Year champagne background. For your year-in-review cover.

Confetti fall, vertical 4K video loop. A moving background for Reels and Stories: launches, birthdays, New Year.
The still images were made with an AI image model and are labelled that way on VLN. The video loops are drawn in code. Each one comes with a licence for social, commercial or extended use.
Put it together in PostPop
Pick the idea, type one line ("our holiday opening hours, closed 25–26 Dec"), and PostPop drafts the slides in your colours and fonts. Add a festive graphic if you like, then export every size in one go.
