Most AI tools give you a regenerate button. Press it and you get something else. Press it again and the first thing is gone.
That is fine when you are rolling dice on a throwaway. It is miserable when the post matters, because the third attempt is often worse than the second — and by the time you know that, the second one does not exist.
A session is a thread
Switch the Studio from Quick to Sessions and keep going on the same post. You say what to change rather than describing a new post: make the cover punchier, shorter on slide three, try it as a Myth vs Fact.
Every attempt is kept and every one is still openable. Pick the one you liked, make it active, export from there.
Nothing is lost by exploring, which is the only thing that makes exploring worth doing.
Quick is not the lesser mode
Most weekly posting should be Quick. Topic in, post out, about twenty seconds. Treating every post as a project is how people stop posting altogether, and we are not interested in building a tool that makes your feed feel like work.
A session is for the launch, the pinned post, the one a client will see — where the cost of a bad version is high enough that being able to go back is worth more than speed.
Two things that stay true
A thread stays a thread. Which mode made a post is recorded when it is made and never changed, so a Quick post and a session post never merge into each other and a thread cannot be rewritten from underneath you.
It is one payment, not a subscription. Seven days free, then a one-time charge on any plan, and it is yours. There is no monthly line item for iterating on your own writing.
Iterate on a post with Sessions has the walkthrough.
