Your month, as a month

Your month, as a month

"Fill my month" wrote you twelve ideas and showed them as a grid of cards. A user asked the question that makes the answer obvious:

"Could you consider whether a view resembling a real calendar would be clearer? If I have a post scheduled for the 17th but the topic planned for the 19th would be a better fit, I could simply swap them."

The reason it was a pile

Month ideas were stored with no date at all. Not a missing feature — a missing field. There was nothing to move and nothing to swap, which is exactly why the screen was a list of ideas rather than a plan.

What it does

Switch to Calendar and your twelve ideas sit on the days you would actually post them. Drag one to an empty day and it moves. Drag it onto a day that is taken and the two swap — and the day says so before you let go.

Nothing you drop ever overwrites anything. A swap that happens silently is indistinguishable from losing a topic, and we would rather show you an extra word than have you wonder where an idea went.

One line worth reading twice

PostPop does not post for you. A month grid with dates on it looks like a scheduler, and it is not one. The dates are your plan; the files are still yours to publish. The screen says so, because finding that out on a Tuesday when nothing went live is the wrong way to learn it.

Who gets it

Planning stays free — "Fill my month" still writes twelve ideas for any account, as it says on the screen. Arranging them on a calendar is on Creator and every lifetime tier. Nothing you have today changes.

On a phone the same cards become a date-grouped list. Seven columns on a 375px screen is not compact, it is unreadable.
