It is on the photo field in the Studio, and on any finished post under Edit slides. The second one matters: you can change the picture on a post you made last week without generating anything again.
This is the one habit worth forming. If your post is about “three things buyers get wrong” and you search that, every slide in the carousel gets a version of the same picture. Search what is on the slide in front of you — “empty living room”, “handing over keys” — and the deck stops looking like one photo repeated five times.
Every tile carries the photographer’s name, because that name ends up in your caption and you should see it while choosing rather than meet it afterwards. A photo already used elsewhere in the same post is marked, so you do not repeat yourself by accident.
A stock photo was composed for nobody’s frame. Square, 4:5, story and landscape each get their own crop from the full picture, so the subject is never sliced off in the size you actually post. Reframe as often as you like — nothing is baked in.
PostPop adds “Photo: Name / Pexels” to your caption when you copy it. Nothing is written on the image, so your post stays your post. It is part of the licence rather than a setting, so there is no switch to forget.
